About turning a year older.

A lot of people say growing older can be daunting.

You have more responsibilities…

Like finishing a 20-inch pizza instead of normal 8-inch ones.
Like finishing a 20-inch pizza.

You need to plan ahead and coordinate.

Your outfit NEEDS to match the candle and your drink.

You can’t be silly, especially in public places.

Especially standing up on a chair with sparklers in your hands and shorts not worn properly.

In this case, a forty-year-old married man with a kid by the name of Michael Bublé.

But things are not so scary when you have got wonderful people with you.

Like your brothers who could finish the 20-inch pizza for you (and wanted to order another one).

The pizza doesn’t even look that big anymore.

And your sisters who always have rooms for desserts.

I guess it’s not true what they say about things being daunting. Turning a year older turns out to be… heartwarming. 🙂
